Legislative Councillors
When the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) was founded in 1992, it had only one Legislative Council member, Tam Yiu-chung. In the 2025 Legislative Council election, the alliance won a total of 20 seats.
Executive Council Member
Tam Yiu-chung represented the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) in joining the first Executive Council in 1997. Subsequently, various members of the DAB were also appointed as members of the Executive Council to assist the Chief Executive in decision-making.
