DAB Business and Professional Branch forms new executive committee
25 June 2026
The DAB Business and Professional Branch has elected a 15‑member Executive Committee this month. Dr. Kennedy Wong Ying-ho, Hong Kong Deputy to the National People's Congress, serves as Chairperson, with DAB Vice‑Chairperson and LegCo Member Holden Chow as Branch Director. Members come from diverse professional backgrounds including law, accounting, finance, commerce, surveying, and property management, bringing together expertise to strengthen the Branch's advocacy and amplify the voice of the business and professional sectors. The new committee held its first meeting on 23 June, attended by all members and DAB party affairs advisor Pang Cheung‑wai.
Kennedy Wong said the formation of the new committee marks a new chapter for the Branch. With the HKSAR Government rolling out its first five‑year development plan, the new team will proactively engage with the Government in areas of direct relevance to the business and professional sectors, unite members, and seize emerging opportunities.
Looking ahead, the Branch will align its work with the national 15th Five‑Year Plan, strengthen industry cohesion, and deepen exchanges and collaboration. It will also actively drive Hong Kong's economic development, integrate into the national development strategy, and deepen cooperation with the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area to enhance the overall competitiveness of the business and professional sectors.
