Elizabeth Quat: The current national security law already regulated false information, no need for further legislation

Secretary for Justice Paul Lam said that the newly enacted Safeguarding National Security Ordinance already regulated false information, and prohibited false statements. There would be no plans to have a false information law. LegCo member Elizabeth Quat agreed that current laws were sufficient.
