The Young DAB Branch has elected a 15‑member Executive Committee, following a vote by branch members last month. The new committee is led by Chairman Victor Lau Ngai, Southern district councillor and solicitor, with DAB Secretary‑General and LegCo Member Chris Ip serving as Branch Director, and DAB Executive Committee Member Edward Leung as Branch Advisor.

The Vice‑Chairpersons are Elaine Shiu, Neil Shih, Zita Au and Angel Chong. Other committee members include Eric Wong, Maxwell Ng, Brian Chau, Brian Lam, Sam Chan, Bonny Fu, Jasper Wong, Olivia Lau and Harbor Han. Drawing on their professional backgrounds in law, innovation and technology, Chinese medicine, accounting, social services and community work, the new team is well‑positioned to contribute across a broad spectrum of youth‑focused initiatives.

The new committee held its first meeting today (9 July) to map out its work plan for the coming year. Chairman Lau Ngai said the new term marks a fresh chapter for the branch's youth work. With Hong Kong preparing to roll out its first‑ever five‑year development plan, alongside the national 15th Five‑Year Plan and the Greater Bay Area development, young people will have unprecedented opportunities. The new team will actively engage with the Government in shaping youth policies, unite young people from all walks of life, create pathways for upward mobility, and guide the city's youth in embracing and contributing to the nation's overall development.
